Question on Notables
[edit]I question Sam Waltons inclusion in the Notable residents category. His bio mentions no connection to Shelby County. Also the young girl, Elizbeth Platz. Is her spelling bee event notable enough to warrant inclusion? What do you think?? Sector001 (talk) 20:49, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- As to the first, it does mention that he resided in Shelbina; as to the second, I have a bit of a COI there; do whatever you think fit. Lexicografía (talk) 16:32, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
I removed an unreferenced statement that James Earl Ray lived in Shelbina. I extensively searched for this and can't find anything. The MLK assassination was in Shelby County, Tennessee (and not Missouri) Americasroof (talk) 05:56, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
- This was done Dec 31, 2012 from an IP address. It is pretty clearly vandalism that unfortunately has stayed too long. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Shelby_County%2C_Missouri&diff=530673600&oldid=529549638 Americasroof (talk) 06:06, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
